One local pageant girl has walked away with three titles after participating in this year’s Amerifest National Pageant.

AmeriFest National Pageants is a faith-based pageant system which strives to celebrate women of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and sizes. Pageants take place all over the United States with Ivy Grace Kester, daughter of Deitra Pendleton and John Kester, recently having competed in Tennessee’s leg of the competition. Kester was born and lives in McMinnville and is a student at Eastside Elementary School.

The three-day pageant took place in Kingsport and considered candidates in several areas, including interviews, runway and formal wear. Kester, 10, was named Miss Preteen Tennessee Beauty Supreme, Miss Preteen Tennessee Ambassador and first runner-up for Miss Preteen Southern States.

The next AmeriFest pageant for Tennessee is set to take place in Kingsport in March 2025.
