The Warren County Grand Jury will decide whether a local man accused of committing assault with a machete will stand trial for his alleged actions. Michael Darnell Burch, 39, had a preliminary hearing Tuesday in General Sessions Court, where Judge Ryan J. Moore determined the prosecution met its burden of proof enough to bind Burch’s charge of aggravated assault over to the grand jury.
