Miller killed in crash

An early morning traffic accident Thursday claimed the life of a local man.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports Jesse Eugene Miller, 40, of McMinnville was traveling on Hwy. 127 in Coffee County when he lost control of his 2015 GMC Tahoe, which went into a field and overturned. Miller, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene.

The Augusta, Ga., native was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was the automotive maintenance manager at Kirchhoff Automotive in Manchester. He is survived by his wife, Brettley Snyder Miller, as well as his father and five children.

A celebration of Miller’s life will be held at Cotton’s Marina in Rock Island Saturday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m.
