School bus involved in crash

A collision between a school bus and a blue 2014 Hyundai Elantra occurred near On the Way market at 716 S. Chancery St. just before 3 p.m. Friday afternoon. The Elantra, driven by a teenager and occupied by three other teens, reportedly swerved into the path of the bus, causing a collision which knocked the Elantra back. The driver of the school bus, 42-year-old Elaine Adams, one passenger of the bus and the driver of the Elantra were taken to Ascension Saint Thomas River Park Hospital for treatment while one passenger of the Elantra was reportedly transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. A ride home took a frightening turn for several students Friday afternoon. A school bus full of Warren County Middle School students was struck when a blue 2014 Hyundai Elantra driven by a teenage girl reportedly swerved into its path near On the Way market at 716 S. Chancery St. just before 3 p.m. causing four people to be transported for treatment.
