A fire last month in the Dibrell community has proven doubly tragic. Nancy Jane Pinegar, 82, succumbed Saturday to injuries received in the blaze at 1232 Roy Foster Rd. Oct. 26. Mrs. Pinegar had been at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after suffering several burns in the fire while trying to rescue her bedridden husband, Percy Pinegar, Sr.
