Chris Stanford, District Attorney General for the 31st Judicial District, turned himself in to DeKalb County authorities Monday morning after a sealed indictment was returned by the DeKalb County Grand Jury stemming from charges related to the Nov. 21 apprehension of three suspects in Smithville.
