Last weekend, Lebanon was the location of one of the biggest fan-driven conventions, ICCCon.

Hundreds of fans participated in the three-day convention. ICCC stands for Imperial Commissary Collectors Convention and was created by Michael Havens.

Havens is a big collector of vintage Star Wars toys and wanted to create a convention that showcased that love of collecting. The first ICCCon launched in 2018 and since then it has become Tennessee’s premiere sci-fi collecting fan convention.

There were multiple celebrity guests at the convention including Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Ian McDiarmid, to name a few. Guests participated in panels where they were interviewed and answered audience questions. Autographs and photos with the guests could also be purchased.

The Southern Standard was able to interview Woll. Woll is known for her roles in “True Blood” and “Daredevil.” She attended USC School of Dramatic Arts where she mastered her craft and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting.

When asked about her favorite role she has played so far, Woll said, “I just did ‘Angels in America’ in DC and I played Harper Pitt and that was really, for me, a career peak. It is such a bucket list part for a lot of actors and it was such a great group of actors and directors and the production was really unique and I just had the time of my life doing it.”

Woll said there are currently no plans for her to return to her “Daredevil” character, Karen Page, in the upcoming series “Daredevil: Born Again.”

Along with celebrity guests, there were multiple vendors, a cosplay contest, droid building, live music, game rooms and food trucks. The weekend was truly a time for fans. The annual convention was another success for Havens and his ICCC team.
