Prepare for laughs and award-winning stunts this Sunday — The Great DuBois are coming to Park Theater.
The Great DuBois is a fast-paced and high-energy circus show suitable for all ages and was recently featured in Hugh Jackman’s hit movie, “The Greatest Showman.” In a sprawling list of other notable credits, the Tony Award-winning “Pippin” on Broadway, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “Late Night with David Letterman”, Britney Spears World Circus Tour and the movie “Burlesque” are highlights of The Great DuBois’ career.
Acts from the dynamic group often showcase feats of juggling, hula hoops, aerial maneuvers, circus stuns, contortion, unicycle riding and just a bit of magic and comedy — all the while pulling the audience in with direct interaction.
The award-winning duo of Michael DuBois and Viktoria Grimmy possess five generations of circus performing between them and have put on countless shows at theatres, universities, cruise shits, fairs and festivals all across the world. Although they won’t be performing beneath a big top in Sunday’s show, the group does have a circus tent it provides for some outdoor venues.
This lively performance begins at 2:30 p.m. and tickets are on sale now. General admission for adults begins at $28 and children ages 2 to 12 years is $18. Tickets can be purchased on Park Theater’s website, mcminnvilleparktheater.com, by phone at (931) 506-2787 or at its box office during normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. If available, a limited number of tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the event, while supplies last.
