A traffic stop near Westwood resulted in multiple drug charges against a local man Sunday night.

Travis Lee Moore, 34, was booked into the Warren County Jail Sunday just after 7 p.m., facing charges of manufacture, delivery or sale of a Schedule VI substance, manufacture, delivery or sale of methamphetamine and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the arrest report filed by McMinnville Police Officer Tristan Shirley, Moore was stopped in a white Volkswagen for failing to maintain his lane of travel on Morrison St. on the evening of Jan. 5. While speaking to Moore, Shirley reported he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a search, seven individual bags of a green, leafy substance were allegedly located under the front passenger seat, weighing approximately 4.5 ounces.

Also allegedly found were three white wrappers containing a yellow crystal substance believed to be THC weighing 50.1 grams, along with two scales with residue, one orange tray with green leafy residue, a blue tray with white crystal residue, three vapes containing THC and $1,750 in cash.

Moore was placed into custody and reportedly transported to the WCSO. Upon arrival the backseat of his vehicle was searched, and allegedly revealed a clear plastic bag containing 8.5 grams of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Moore is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Jan. 9 for arraignment.
