Flower, Lawn and Garden event

The Cumberland County Master Gardeners are hosting not one but two events for plant lovers this spring!

The 2025 Flower, Lawn, and Garden Festival will be two fun-filled days, April 25 and 26, at the Cumberland County Complex (fairgrounds) in Crossville. Last year’s festival attracted around 2000 visitors, and we hope this year you will be one of them!

The 2025 festival will feature an indoor and outdoor marketplace, speakers and workshops, educational exhibits, live music, food trucks, and a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere.

Over 70 local businesses, non-profit organizations and craftspeople will be on hand to share their knowledge and wares. Expect to find yard and gardening tools, landscaping elements, natural products, arts and crafts made from natural materials or inspired by nature, and plants, plants, plants!

The Master Gardeners will be selling vegetable and ornamental plants this year. We will also have a silent auction of new gardening and nature-related items and a yard sale of gently used home and garden items.

Admission to the Flower, Lawn, and Garden Festival is $5 for both days with a saved ticket. Children under 12 are admitted for free. Cash is required for entrance and at many booths.

The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

If the festival whets your appetite for more plants, come to the Spring Plant Sale the following week at the UT Gardens — Crossville, commonly known as the Plateau Discovery Gardens. The sale runs on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until supplies last. Come early to avoid disappointment and bring cash or check only.

A wide variety of high quality, locally sourced plants will be on sale, including new and award-winning annual and perennial flowers, shade-tolerant foliage plants, vines and shrubs. Many will be native or pollinator plants.

Proceeds from these two events will go to the Cumberland County Master Gardeners and the UT-Gardens- Crossville, a garden free and open to the public every day.
