Kissel Entertainment offers rides that make you say “wow.”

Typhoon joined the list of spectacular rides offered by the carnival, a list that includes the Matterhorn, Alakazam, Nemesis 360, and Alien Abduction.

“I thought I was going to throw up,” said Savannah Foster after experiencing Typhoon’s spinning motion. “That ride almost made me sick.”

She, with Caitlin Washer, went to the fair Monday evening for the special $20 hand stamp.

Kissel Entertainment describes some of its rides as thrill rides, and others as family rides, but their unique characteristics are what put them into the spectacular ride category.

The Typhoon, similar to the Orbiter before it, involves a number of arms radiating from a rotating vertical axis. Each arm supports a cluster of cars, which are lifted in the air and spun frantically.

Remaining ride schedule: Wednesday 6 p.m. to close 2 for $25 hand stamp; Thursday 6 p.m. to close 2-for-1 special ticket; Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $20 hand stamp and 6 p.m. to close tickets only; Saturday 1-4 p.m. $20 hand stamp and 5 p.m. to close tickets only.
