A McMinnville woman made a grand, or grande, entrance at Taco Bell when she fell through the ceiling on Wednesday.

According to officer Brad Hall, the McMinnville Police Department responded to a suspicious person call at Taco Bell on Smithville Hwy. Hall said, “The complainant was the manager, Terra Gardenhire, who stated that while she was eating dinner in the dining room a person fell through the ceiling. She stated that the person was wearing all white and ran out of the business toward Burch Supply.”

The woman was later identified as Robin Lynne Emigh, 39, when she was reportedly found behind the Citgo/Pump and Pay West on Smithville Hwy. by Lt. Ben Cantrell. Hall said, “I was in a wooded area close to Lt. Cantrell and went to his location to assist him.”

According to officer Hall, Emigh was acting erratic, having slurred speech, making jerking movements, and appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance. When she was asked why she was in the ceiling, she reportedly stated that she did not know that she was in the ceiling of Taco Bell.

Hall reported, “Emigh did conceal herself in the ceiling of Taco Bell without the owner’s effective consent.” Emigh was transported to Ascension Saint Thomas River Park due to being under the influence and complaining of pain in her legs.

The officers checked the business and concluded that Emigh entered the ceiling through the men’s restroom. Hall said, “There was damage to multiple ceiling tiles from the person that entered and fell through the ceiling.”

Emigh was transported from the hospital to the Warren County Jail and was served two warrants. She was charged with public intoxication and burglary.
